The certification assesses and certifies that the organisations products have been developed and manufactured in accordance with the IEC 61508 standard.

Change-over valves are used to connect two safety valves to a pressure system using one joint pipe. The operating system runs normally, with one safety valve in operation while the other is on stand-by. This allows the stand-by valve to be removed and even serviced during ongoing operation.

The AZ-Armaturen double block and bleed valve is a plug valve with two independent sealing areas which provide a tight seal against pressure from both ends of the valve. Additionally, the cavity between the sealing areas can be vented/bleeded (DBI Type A) in order to recognise a leakage on one sealing immediately.
