AZ had manufactured various specialised plug valves for Chlorine Services, which included both dry and liquid Chlorine for water dosing systems. These valves comprised of both manually operated as well as actuated valves.

The AZ-Armaturen double block and bleed valve is a plug valve with two independent sealing areas which provide a tight seal against pressure from both ends of the valve. Additionally, the cavity between the sealing areas can be vented/bleeded (DBI Type A) in order to recognise a leakage on one sealing immediately.

AZ-Armaturen South Africa has achieved a new Gas Certificate issued by the Southern African Gas Association (SAGA). This certificate, based on the EN 14141 standard, certifies that AZ-Armaturen’s valves can be used as shut-off units for Natural Gas and LP Gas. AZ-South Africa is registered with SAGA and prides themselves in upholding safety and efficiency.
